What should I wear to class?
No dress code. Dress comfortably, dress light, and something you can move around and dance in!
What shoes should I wear?
Beginners can start with street shoes or dress shoes that have ankle-straps (support) with medium-height heels or any flat-bottom shoes or regular dancing shoes. Avoid wearing shoes that have thick rubber soles such as sneakers, clogs, boots or flip-flops.
Do I need to bring a partner to class?
No partner necessary for any of our classes. We rotate frequently in the class so that everyone will have time to practice with a partner.
Do I need to pre register for class or can I just show up to the studio?
Yes, please register for each class online before coming to the studio. Signing up speeds up checking in at the studio so that you start your class on time. Sign up online here
Is previous dance experience necessary?
Previous experience is not required for our Salsa Fundamentals Series (Part 1 at 6pm), Bachata Fundamentals, Solo Bachata and Reggaeton. You will need prior experience for Advanced Beginner Salsa and Bachata as well as Solo Salsa. Please read our descriptions each class to see how much experience is required for the level.
Can I still join the Partnering Series if I've missed the first class?
New Students/Beginners are suggested to start at the beginning of each Series. The 1st week is preferred but you may join the 2nd week if space allows. After the 2nd week, you will need to wait for the next cycle (Salsa repeats every 4 weeks, Bachata every 8 weeks). Check our next Series dates on the schedule page.
What are the refund policies?
Class packages are non-refundable and non-transferable. There are no extensions.
