This new one of a kind series at UMA draws inspiration from Noize Freak classes, parties and battles since 2022. In this series we combine live music experiences with the same engaging choreographic study that takes place in WORKINONIT and UMA Shows Up. This time the goal is to present an UMA designed spectacle that fuses elements of a commercial/pop music concert and dance theater. Steve Perry will arrange covers of our favorite artists of now and the past for Alexis Curiel to choreograph stunning pieces. The program will also build upon both Steve and Alexis’ theatrical languages, composing stunning sequences for dance performers to unite with live musicians. In the final show, performers will perform choreography and compositions to a live band with a singer who will bring Philly soul to our favorite hits.
