2 program options geared toward all levels of dancers
Offered @ 812 Chestnut
additional week of CLASSEs ADDED 11/12 @ 2100!
These programs are extensions of the UMA Dip, so they will serve folks that are new to their practice. However, anyone will benefit from these classes. I will be operating the class in a way where anyone at any level will be challenged.
For Beginners, I will be providing you pathways for better understanding foundation and body mechanics. The main take away will be tools for practice at home as well as providing you with ways to analyze areas that you are having difficulty and determine solutions for progress on your own. For those that are advanced beginners and intermediates, these workshops will challenge you because I will put pressure on you to truly acknowledge what you are doing with dance. What is your approach? What is your technique? What is your direction as a dancer? How do you identify what you are doing and make informed/real time decisions on actions that need to be taken to improve your performance. These workshops are best for students that have interest in getting beyond hurdles and are open to working insightfully on their practice. This class won't be the best for folks who are looking for just a sweat or to hit the step in some choreography. Rather this is for beginners that are looking to support themselves with breakthroughs, or more experienced students that are willing to do the REAL WORK to refine their voices as dancers. |
