Capoeira movement is just that, a class that explores the movements of Capoeira. Capoeira is an Afro- Brazilian martial art rich in music an culture and there are many teachers for those aspects of the art form. Here we focus on the strength, flexibility, body awareness and control of gameplay while listening to house, hip hop and even rock. The overall goal is to have fun while training hard. Real kicks are practiced and real kicks are thrown. Participants are expected to stay alert and look out for themselves and their fellow students. We are not here to hurt each other but to push each other and grow!
